Fox & Friends Upset over Obama’s paper clip
DOOCY: Meanwhile, come and get your copy. President Obama’s jobs bill, hot off the presses — at Kinko’s? Hundreds of billions in tax hikes and new spending bound together with a chintzy clip. Look at that thing.
BRIAN KILMEADE (co-host): Right.
DOOCY: What’s that about?
KILMEADE: We’ve never had the word “chintzy” in the cold open before.
GRETCHEN CARLSON (co-host): We’re in a recession.
Because there’s nothing else negative to say about it.
The staggering number of factual things wrong with that short conversation makes this puppy sad.
So fuck you Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson.
If you’re not going to tell the truth for the American people, at least do it for the puppies.
And for the everyone’s sake, please stop the bigoted anti-paper clip language. They are good, hard working members of the paper-holding world. I mean, unless this is some kind of Kenyan, socialist secular-muslim paper clip who is hell bent on destroying traditional marriage and America. Then by all means, go on and continue.
I don’t live in America, but that is the best president you will ever have. Don’t screw it up when it’s time for election again cause this man is actually fixing your country and the shit that Bush fucked up. He’s not a fucking magician, he won’t fix everything with a snap of his fingers, but he’s at least doing something.
AND ALL WHILST BEING AWESOME.
THIS, A HUNDRED TIMES THIS
This. At least he’s trying.
I couldn’t agree more with the first comment. Seriously guys.
I didn’t get any donuts.
I want donuts. Damn it all.
And he is trying. Even if he’s just making it look like he’s trying, that’s more than the other candidates would do.
The problem is you can’t run on that, “hey, he’s trying.”
It’d be great if Obama actually had the circumstances to do what he is actually capable of. He has to have the political will too though. It is like we only see “capable Obama” the closer to campaign season we get.
I mean he never had a chance, the GOP has been sabotaging him since the start, but let’s not pretend that he hasn’t made mistakes either. Healthcare was too soon, jobs should have been first. They had to have known the Republicans would make it as hard as they did, and it was. The GOP made that go on until the budget and the economy were forced onto the stage, just fight after fight after fight, and that doesn’t make anyone look good.
You know why Obama hasn’t “done enough” yet, it is because of shitty Congressional leadership (We were actually getting stuff done with Pelosi), GOP obstructionism and his ability to cave in the name “of being the moderate.”
He is still pretty damn well awesome. Now where’s my doughnut?
